We have a customer who is missing the "Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 x86 Runtime" (in Programs and Features).  We think that this program is normally installed when the Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 x86 Redistributable (vcredist_x86_2010.exe) is installed. Now that our customer is in this situation, we are not sure how to get the "Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 x86 Runtime" onto their machine. We have tried a repair install. We have also tried an uninstall following by install.

We have reproduced similar behavior on a test VM. The test VM originally had Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 x64 AND x86 Redistributable AND Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 x86 Runtime.  We uninstalled the Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 x86 Runtime. Now we cannot get the 2010 x86 Runtime back.  We have tried uninstalling the redistributables, but when we then install them, we only get "Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 x86 Redistributable" and "Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 x64 Redistributable" back.  We do not get "Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 x86 Runtime" back.

客户在Microsoft Server 2012 R2上。  我们正在寻找有关安装Runtime的建议。

The customer is on Microsoft Server 2012 R2.  We are looking for advice to get the Runtime to install.
