Hi, Simple question. I just installed Visual Studio 2017. I noticed that when I was coding some form events the helpful menu bar at the top of the panel was missing. It was the bar that showed the names of the controls on the form and their events. How do I get that back? Thanks, Jim

It looks like you are mean the ‘Navigation bar’, I have checked it in my VS 2017 and this bar display correctly.

Please go to Tools-Option…-Text Editor-All Languages, confirm the option ‘Navigation bar’ are checked as below:

If it is already selected and this issue persists, please re-run the VS 2017 installer as administrator, click the icon beside ‘Launch’ and choose ‘Repair’, then reopen VS 2017 to check it again.
