I am working on a universal app that registers for a file type association and I provide the corresponding file type icon in multiple sizes (16, 32, 48, 256 pixels). This works perfectly fine on Windows 8.1. However, on windows phone when I set the file type icon in the manifest, the "files" app shows a blank icon. If I leave the file type icon parameter empty, it shows a default icon. Do I have to provide any special icon sizes on Windows phone to make this work? There is no information about that in the documentation.
