I installed VS2017 Enterprise the other day, and was pleased to discover that it supports Client-side debugging of ASP.NET projects in Google Chrome. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to work. If I set a breakpoint in a Javascript file, and then hit f5 to debug the web project, it runs the Javascript, but never breaks at all.

I have the "Enable Javascript debugging for ASP.NET (Chrome and IE)" checkbox checked, and ahve tried unchecking it, but it doesn't make any difference.

If you run your VS as the admin, how about the result? As you said that you add the breakpoint to the JavaScript, if so,  does the javascript code inside a *.cshtml file or .js/.ts file
