Subsequent to my earlier posts on VSTO add-in deployment (see references below) I have been successful in creating a set of group policies that deploy (in the correct order) installer packages (.msi files) for the Primary Interop Assemblies (PIAs) for Office 2007, the Visual Studio Tools for Office 2005 Second Edition runtime, and my VSTO SE Add-in.  The latter group policy includes scripts that write the appropriate registry settings for the add-in to HKLM and HKLU.

The final barrier seems to be deployment of the PIAs for Office 2003.  When I try to add the O2003PIA.MSI package with the group policy editor (under Computer Configuration) I get the following error:

Did you ever find a solution for this?  I am having the exact same problem with the same package and same errors in the app log when I try to create the GPO.
