Hello,

We recently changed the X-UI-Compatible tag in our SharePoint master page to Edge/11 (it was 9). The reason for this change was to enable css functionalities that are not supported by 10 or lower. 

A side effect of this is that the "Open with explorer" does not work anymore. (You can easily simulate this using the emulation in the IE developer tools).

Is there a fix for this? (if there is I haven't found it on google).

Based on official document below, SharePoint 2013 doesn’t support Internet Explorer 11 edge mode, so you have to use ie=10/9 for this case.
