I have a calendar in SharePoint that has a number of recurring appointments. When this calendar is exported - only the one instance shows with the start and end date (if added)

I tried adding this calendar to Outlook to try and export but I am unable to select this calendar to export to .csv.  If I change the view in Outlook to "List", the items don't show individually either.

I've searched online and cannot find a way to do this.  I find it hard to believe this cannot be done.  Anybody out there successfully done this?

In SharePoint, when we export the calendar with recurring events, recurring calendar events show as a single instance in Excel by default.

In SharePoint recurring events will be stored only as a single item with a rule attached to show all recurrences in the calendar view.

As a workaround, try to use some third part tool to achieve your request, refer to the similar post:
