I'm getting the failure referred to in the subject.  I don't think it was happening with AppCert 3.1, but now using 3.3 and seeing this error.

Running the command line version, I get this in my results report:

        <MESSAGES>
          <MESSAGE TEXT="An internal error occurred while performing the multi user session test." />
        </MESSAGES>
      </TEST>

Which appears to be the "Multi User checks Application invocation in multiple sessions." part of the MultiUser sessions phase.

App is a desktop App, running on Windows 8.1

Perhaps somebody knows how I can reproduce or mimic the situation under test so that I can find and correct the issue ?

More information I got from hints provided by other people.

The following appears in one of the AppCert logs:

On the first line for ProcessName, it references TE.exe

no such executable appears on my machine, in the referenced directory or otherwise
