Having the typical problem of forms flashing before being maximized; that is, they flash open to the designed size before being maximized. Same thing happens with the close event (from a command button). I have DoCmd.Maximize in each forms OnLoad and OnActivate properties, but that seems like overkill. I'm sure I once saw a cure-all of sorts to eliminate this issue.

Well putting it on more than one Event will make it worse not better.

I would try On Open rather than On Load as the order of firing may help. On Open fires before On Load.
