Hi,

I am looking to see if is possible to open a new spreadsheet every time a new is going to be created. 

Example:

Content Type "Name" is selected. 

The New page is open to add data and create a new item

Open a new Spreadsheet document 

When the spreadsheet is saved, automatically attach it to the new item that is going to be created.

When the new items is saved, it is saved with the attach spreadsheet. 

I was wondering if this was possible with a workflow.

Hi,

There is no OOB function(workflow actions) for this per my knowledge.

And the OOB ‘upload attachement’ should be easy for user to upload.

Or, you may consider to use EXCEL content type for a library.
