Problems:
#1. Blocking junk email & specific following domain(i.e. @lksdllwflk.com) Why do you have to do this individually for each one? I select a junk email( check the box) hit sweep, select block, then the window pops up, are you sure you want to block this sender. When this window pops up, I copy the domain "@fndfkje.com", then click ok. Next, I go to the "manage blocked senders page" & paste the domain that I previously copied. this is so time consuming and archaic. It almost seems like hotmail is setup to make this hard to do & time consuming.
#2. Why isn't there an option to return to your junk email folder, once you have blocked an email address & domain name?? It only gives you the option of returning to the inbox....that makes no sense!!
#3. When selecting emails/senders to block on your junk email page: After selecting/ checking all the boxes you want & you hit "sweep"; the box that pops up SHOULD have the emails listed in list format(one above the other) & have the @domain.com names in a way you can select all of them at one time & copying them. Then after selecting ok & you go to your"manage blocked sender" page, you can paste all of these domains at one time. Instead of the way it is now & having to do each one individually. That in & of itself will be a huge time saver for the user. And AGAIN, why isn't there an option to return to junk email folder from the "manage blocked sender page?" I mean...the junk folder is where you just came from...right?
Thank you for providing a place to offer constructive criticism. I hope this isn't too much of a rant. It seems like the above suggestions should not be too difficult to implement. The above text has culminated from years of selecting all & just blocking those senders. If you can streamline the domain side of it as well into a more user friendly blocking experience this will increase productivity for the user & thus improve their Hotmail experience, adding value to your services & putting your core market...the user, ahead of the prolific algorithim derived war w/ junk email. -Noel-
