Normally, I don't post questions in the MS Word Discussion Forum, but recently I have been seeing some really weird things. Weird things all over the place (I reimaged my ThinkPad about 1 week ago). One of the new things is, that when I open a Word doc, I am often prompted to save the doc. I open it from a folder and then I can't save it down; check out these images:

So, I save the open file to my HD, and cut/paste it into the folder. Sometimes this works. Sometimes I get some kind of message that Word is open, even after I close it. Sure enough, I hit Ctrl+Shift+Esc, and I do indeed see Word running in the Windows Task Manager. So, I need to close several sessions of Word, and only then, can I cut/past the file from my desktop to the folder where I initially opened it form. After using Word for over 15 years, I have NEVER seen it behave like this. Has anyone encountered this before? Can someone tell me if I'm doing something wrong here. Can someone help me get this straightened out? This is REALLY annoying. I'm using Word 2010 (MS Office Pro Plus).
