I patched the SharePoint 2013 farm with March 2018 CU by downloading the package from official Microsoft download site

After the installation and PSConfig was successful when I go to Manage Servers in farm page or check the version through powershell it shows me

Whereas as per the MS article @ March 13, 2018, cumulative update for SharePoint Enterprise Server 2013 (KB4018302) it should have been 15.0.5015.1002

（Get-SPFarm）.BuildVersion

Whats the version build number, if you check via powershell?
1. Run below PS command

(Get-SPFarm).BuildVersion

2. Navigate to Central Admin ->system Settings->Manage servers in this farm->Check whether the Configuration database version is updated or not

3. Check Central admin > Upgrade and migration > Check product and patch installation status-> make sure latest CU installed.

4. See running this command
