搜索引擎优化不仅仅是添加元标记，谷歌算法相当复杂。即使从谷歌算法的角度来看你的SEO实现是完美的，也需要时间来显示搜索。

Hi ,

I have created a static website using a downloaded free template.

I used the following meta tags there.

<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8" />
<meta name="description" content= "Some description of the web"/>
<meta name="keywords" content="Comma separated list of key words"/>

But when I Google it, it not showing my site for either of the keyword.
When i enter full URL, it list the site but it shows some other sentences which i have not added.

I have hosted my site @ GoDaddy.com

Note: I checked some website which has used the same template, it show the same description in the Google.

Could any body help me to sort this out.

There''s lot more to SEO than just adding the meta tags, the google algorithm is quite complex. Also even if your SEO implementation is perfect from google algorithm''s viewpoint, it takes time to show up in searches.
