So I have had a tough time gathering information regarding the actual hardware and what not, Now that I have that all sorted and vista sp 1 running and ready to start creating some apps, I can't get Visual Studio 2008 or Microsoft Visual C# 2008 Express edition downloaded, nor can I even buy key?

As I know the surface SDK is not compatible and working for VS2012. But it's integrated with VS2010.
