Is there any easy method available to covnert pipe delimeter Text file into Excel? I am now doing it by reading each line of text file and then writing it in the Excel; I beleive that this is not the correct method

Excel can import any CSV file when opened via file open. Try it by creating a text file and putting in three items seperated by a pipe, keep the file name as .Txt. Then open the file in Excel, the wizard allows one to specify the delimiting character. Specify the | and viola it is now in excel.
