Text和Memo数据类型仅存储在字段中输入的字符;不存储字段中未使用位置的空格字符。

I am deciding whether to use text or memo fields for my project in consideration of the minimum memory size take by each of them.

If both the text and memo fields are empty, how much memory size will each take ?

解决方案

Both Text and Memo data types store only the characters entered in a field; space characters for unused positions in the field aren't stored.

If your data has less than 255 characters you can use text or memo over 255 you can use only memo
