This is regarding Excel Addin. When I request for some data(Historical) from The DDE server the request is not sent from the client. This happens in the following ways. When I request from data and save the same in two excel sheets(Lets say test1 & test2). Now I open excel and from recent Document I open Test1 it updates fine. again from the recent document When I open test2 the request from client does not reaches the server and it does not get updated. I need to exclusively go to the formula and say F2 & ENTER. then it works fine. Now here when I open the excel from recent document it opens only one instance of Excel. If I open multiple instance then this problem is not seen. what could be the reason. Any ideas on a high level.
