I have a legacy code which is embedding Excel in MFC application. When I run this application, it is creating the ribbon (Office 2010) and the grid from the embedded Excel in different part of the displayed screen output. I am unable to find how different parts of Excel are getting positioned. Could anyone please help me know how ribbon/toolbar can be placed separately from the grid?

How did you include the excel into your MFC project, is COM? I think a COM object just like a control, you cannot separate them from out side, here is in your MFC project, only if this COM object open a interface for this function.
