ok what i want to do is make a forms based application that can access imges.dll and replace the log on image to one chose by the user but not sure how i would go around getting a dll resorce file and using a windows 7 dll file 

so gui of the program 

a button to say change logon screen when pushed it will load up a dialog box asking to pick your image to replace logon screen 

once chosen give you a preview of the image you have picked 

then a button that will apply it and replace the other dll with your custom dll 

is that possible i know there are logon changes already out there but want to make my own one just dont know how to do it if anyone could help would be great :)
