We are trying to develop an app for Windows phone 8.

When i look at the SMSInterceptor.SMSReceived event, it says "This API is not intended to be used directly from your code".

If it's not intended to be directly used from my code, why is it included in the documentation ? Can anyone throw light on this ?

I am interested in intercepting the SMS messages and reading them programmatically. Is it possible ?
