Hi,

Have developed an outlook 2007 add-in using Visual Studio 2008, and published it successfully on our local environment, which inturn generates the VSTO Deployment Manifest. After the clickonce installation, I want to display a messageBox prompting the user "To restart outlook after installation".

I googled a lot, and i found that i could add custom-action to the setup project(msi installer). But if i choose to have a setup project deployment, I would not get the version updates for the add-in. Could somebody please help me on this. All i want to do is to display a message/ a prompt asking the user to restart the outlook application after installing the add-in.

Thanks for posting in the MSDN Forum.

As far as I know we’re not able to do which you want in this issue. You need a window installer project to support your idea.
