I have an application that has been in production for many years. The application has an Access 2007 Front End and SQL Server Back-End.  A couple days ago, for reasons we have been unable to figure out, the data entry process slowed down considerably.  By slowing down I mean, the keyboards response to the users typing and the speed at which a selection from a drop down list is populated into the field.  The user can type 10 characters; 5 show up on the screen as normal, while the last 5 show up a couple seconds later.  This problem seems to have come out of nowhere.  We had made no changes to the application before this started happening.  I have tried compacting and repairing, re-connecting and rebuilding all the data links, and even re-starting the server hosting the application.  All of these seem to work (a little), but the symptoms continue to return quickly after.  Any suggestions you might have would be very much appreciated.  Thank you...
