I have created several templates in Word 2007 and used date formating in Legacy Tools in the control tab however this feature does not work in 2010 and if I convert any of my templates to 2010 the format goes away therefore to retain this formating I have to remain in the 2007 mode and to create changes in any of my templates I have to use a computer with Word 2007. I assume this is a design flaw. My question is - is there a solution to this issue.
