We have an ERP developed in .NET (VB.NET / C #) 4.5.2 - Windows Forms and note that in some clients, after 15h yesterday the application stopped running and after a few tries, it runs again. It does not even open the initial form nor generate log in event viewer.
We noticed that yesterday MS released an error message in WPF applications after updating an update, as below.

With no error message, we are not sure what causes the error. As I know, there are two ways to get the exception. One is the Event View, but you said that it does not work. The another is dump file, it could could be download when the application get something wrong. You could try the steps according to the gif.
