I have a WSS 3.0 implementation.  We added the fantastic 40 application templates a few months ago.  Doing this created 2 new tabs "application templates" and "custom" when  you go to create a new site or workspace.  In each of these tabs you can see the application templates.

 

In our test environment, I added the Search Server Express.  Now when we go to create a new site or workspace, we have a new tab called "Enterprise" which has the Search Center template listed.  We no longer see the "Application Templates" tab.  We do still have the "Custom" tab.

 

What happened?

 

How can we get the application templates back and will reinstalling them remove the "Enterprise" tab?
