I am writing a small app for WP8 ad got interested in trying to hide the vertical scroll bar in my LLS.

I did some searching and found out that it's an option of the ScrollViewer, and used to be accessible from the LLS in the WP7 toolkit. Since the LLS is built in to WP8 now, is there anyway for me to have the user scroll the list but hide the vertical scroll bar natively?

Also, It does hide itself automatically if the list is short. If the list is long and scrollable, it stays there permanently. I want to make it so that the end user can still scroll, but the bar isn't visible.
