I was hoping to get some direction and clarity on SQL Server versioning in Azure.  It seems that the DB I created was created on v12 using the Azure SQL Database doc on the MS website (I can't link URLs). The problem I'm running into is that I want to enable Change Data Capture.  This feature wasn't available until like v14.  How do I spin up a DB that is compatible with CDC?  I'm trying to stay within the bounds of MS SQL Server. Do I need to spin up a VM and then spin up a DB in that VM to get around this limitation?  Or is there way to specify the SQL version through the first method I used and I just missed it?

On the top you have a thread with the title "Verify Account..."

Add your request there to Verify your account and you will get permission to add images and links :-)

You confuse Azure versions with local on premises versions i think

Change Data Capture is supported from 2008 which is version 10.

Azure SQL Database does not supports this feature but you can use Azure SQL Database Managed Instance
