I created a Windows service for WS2003, i decided to test the functionality on Server 2008. Within the service there is a config file where the application picks up the settings from i.e. web location, file type etc...

On WS2003 i use to restart the service after i made a change in the config file and that did the trick (started to use the new configuration), With WS 2008 this doesnt seem to happen it still retains the old settings (the log file clarifies what settings are being used). Is there something i need to do additionally or how could i track down why this is happening?
