Hello, I have been trying to install VS 2015 for the past week. Each time I install it, the start page shows up stating that my license expired and that I have to log in with a Microsoft account. When I try to do so, after pressing login, a page pops up indicating that the login page can't be displayed and that I should change some settings. When I press the change settings button another pop-up appears indicating that a script error occurred. Pressing either yes or no on this pop-up doesn't yield any result.

Please, I need help. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling VS multiple times. I am desperate to install VS 2015 and have it up and running. It is a necessary program in my programming class this semester and I might fail if I can't install it. I'll appreciate any piece of advice you might give me.

P.S. I tried posting a picture of both pop-ups but the forum denies images or links on my posts until I am verified.

Please ask for a requirement in Verify Your Account 38 .

In the process of signing in VS, there are three main aspects related to it:

1.      Your network environment

2.      your computer IE settings

3.      The connection between your Microsoft account and server

Please try the following steps:

1. Make your default browser is IE 11. 

2. https://www.visualstudio.com/  , https://login.microsoftonline.com/    and https://login.live.com/  to your trusted zone.

3. Enable the JavaScript in Internet Explorer.

Go to Tools -> Internet Options -> Security Tab, and then click the Internet zone, depending on whether you have to customize your Internet security settings, select one of the following options:
•If you do not have to customize your Internet security settings, click Default Level.
•If you have to customize your Internet security settings, click Custom level, scroll down to the Active scripting section, and then click Enable.

Lastly, if you fail to sign in after trying the above, you could change another Microsoft account to renew license again, to check if it is related to your sign in account.

If the above still doesn't work, sometimes the server is  temporarily shut down, please wait patiently till it's back to normal.
