Hey there!

I recently came across a hidden folder in my Power Director 10 and 11 produce folder. The directory is C:\Users\USER\Documents\CyberLink\PowerDirector\10.0\ShadowEditFiles

I was wondering if it was possible to make it so anyone can run this VB application I''m making, press a button and it would delete the contents of the ShadowEditFiles folder? Obviously the username would change from PC to PC, so I need to make it use the person who ran its name.

Also the ShadowEditFiles folder is hidden by default, so would that cause any hassle?

Me and my friend use PD10/11 a lot so it would help us a bunch. I found 50GB of files there after 2 months of editing videos...

It might not be a good idea, but you can do it pretty easily. But why not just turn the option off in PowerDirector and prevent the files being generated in the first place? Or shorten their life from the default 30 days?
