In MS Help Viewer 2.2, I have local content, and "go online to get content and check for updates" checked, under Options.

I have two issues: (1) Content never seems to get updated. (2) Many content pages are not found locally. For example, "FindFirstFiles function [Files]" is found locally, but the link within this page to "FindClose" gets an error "Cannot find requested topic on your computer". The FindClose function is also not in the index.
