Hi I have a little vb6 app that sets up and alters users on a 10g database. This works fine on xp but I have installed it on a windows 7 pc and the app initially connects to the db fine but when you try to make any change to a user I get the error: [Oracle][ODBC][Ora]ORA-01005: null password given; logon denied
I am guessing from a quick google that it may be something to do with encryption of the password but can anyone help please?

You better can search on an Oracle forum as VB6 development is not supported anymore.
