In GUI, I need to populate a combo box with some business data. I'm not sure what design pattern should be used for this. I'm new in design pattern. Any help would be appreciated. I also need clarifications over if MVC fits, why MVP can not be used and vice versa.

In other scenario I've a user control which have a few text box to populate user information. In that case which design pattern can be used.
