Not sure why you would use an OCX control on a form in C++ when there are much better network API''s that can be called directly from code but whatever... To answer your question, no... if it is working now it will work until you break something. The code in the control doesn''t change over time and considering MSWINSCK.OCX is a very "mature" control, I think it is safe to assume that if it stops working, it isn''t the control that is the problem.
