Hello. I am currently having a performance issue here i have more than 300K line of Data in my sql server 2008 and i am currently developing an app to import textfile to my sql db which is already having 300K lines.

The problem is this when the code start to create the dataset it takes a lot of time and make my app very slow.

Does any body come up with a solution like this. i have read that adding a primary key upon creating of the dataset will help i tried but there is something wrong the debugger tells the DBNULL should be check any other solution will be appreciated.
