Hi,

I am using Coded UI test project(Universal Windows) for automating Universal Windows Apps.During automation of Universal Windows Apps,When second Window opens on clicking from main window,I am unable to make assertions on second window through crosshair tool.Crosshair tool is not showing its impact on second window.

Few Scenarios where Second Window opens,assertions are not able to make on these windows through crosshair tool:

Eg:
Navigate through,
(i) Setting--> System--> Display--> Advanced display settings--> Colour Settings--> Colour management.
This opens colour management window,Tool is not recognizing any object on this window.

(ii) Setting--> System--> Display-->Advanced display settings--> Colour Settings--> Colour calibration.
This opens colour calibration window, Tool is not recognizing any object on this window.
Can anyone provide the solution for this?

I tried to test it with both kinds of tools (Coded UI test project(Universal Windows)  and Test(Coded UI Test Project)  )

The result showed Coded UI test project(Universal Windows) does not work on the Color management window. Instead, Test(Coded UI Test Project) could recognize it and make assertions.

We could find out it’s the same reason for Color calibration.

We need know the kind of the app before we test it, because only by using the corresponding Coded UI test tool could help us to test it properly.
