I purchased Acer Easyshare 340 last week, worked fine 4 days, and on 5th day WHS console stop responding and "i" LED changed to red. So I tried to connect using RDC, that did not help. I hard booted WHS system and when it started, tried connect using RDC again, that time was able to connect but after around 45 seconds or so, system hanged again. Tried so many times but no luck. Restoring WHS was last option, so i used that too WHS (Did not select factory default settings).

But after restore same problem, RDC just freeze after 45 seconds. I googled and got clue McAfee might be the problem (When logged in very first time using RDC got message ur McAfee subscription is expired although it was six month free trial), so after so many reboot (I had only 45 seconds to connect RDC, open Add/Remove program and uninstall McAfee), I was able to remove McAfee and started system.

But problem still persists. Though I am able to ping but not able to access share folder or console. Also my system backup failed and when WHS start I am getting WHS console message back up failed for your system.

Please help what could be the issue (I don't think any Add-In caused any problem?, i restored the system) Should I try restoring using factory default setting? If yes my files would be wiped off :(
