I need a help please with regards to installation of Visual Studio 2015 Express for web. It's stuck at Applying: Microsoft .NET Framework 4.6. I kept the installation running for 6 hours and no progress. The first time I tried to install Visual Studio the error was file KB2999226 is missing. I approached Microsoft live chat and I downloaded the file. I run it and it kept checking for updates fro 1 hour without any response.

Sorry for my delay reply, from your description and screenshot, the VS installation stuck because of the KB wasn't apply well.

请尝试以下步骤:

1. Refer here to manually reset Windows Update components.

2. Manually download and install Update for Windows 8.1 (KB2999226)

3. Check all other Windows Update and patches and apply them to the newest.
