All you need for a chat program is accounts, so a username and password to log someone in, and probably a table to tell you if someone is logged in, and what IP address they are using. Apart from the obvious question ( why would the world need another one ), this is really an odd question, as a gchat app has almost no use for a DB, that''s not even remotely where the work is
