The Robot Electronics people have a driver library for that module on their examples page: http://www.robot-electronics.co.uk/acatalog/examples.html[^] However, it is in Visual Studio 2008 which may take some work to get converted to VS2012.

Note however, that the module uses the I2C interface bus to communicate information. You can''t directly read I2C on a PC... you will need an interface module. Robot Electronics has a couple that will connect a USB port to the I2C bus. Their libraries will need included in your project (see their help files) and you should be able to make the calls to get the information you want.

Their stuff looks a little aged though. If your interest is hardware/software, you might want to look at the .NET Gadgeteer platform (http://www.netmf.com/gadgeteer/[^]). The hardware is much more "plug-n-play" and there is a big user community. For a newbie, it would probably be a better choice.
