You need to look at what data you need to store, and how you need to process it, and what the interrelations between it are.
Try working it out on sheets of paper - write down a couple of people, and see what info you need to store in order to handle teh event you propose to use. Then try again, organising it differently. It should soon become obvious that you need to have "n" tables, containing a set of data and relationships.
