A few months ago my computer started to come up with these messages that my harddrive was failing and that i should secure it somehow...being the careless guy i am, I thought nothing of it. So today i guess my luck just ran out.

the computer suddenly had removes many of my programs and dll files when i restarted it. also i can't install  anything, it says i need java, but when i try to intall java it tells me that i need to uninstall the existing program and also it gives me the error 1723
