解决方案

1.堆叠您的各种评论"字段，将它们放置在它们之间没有任何空格的地方.

I have a InfoPath form development question:

based on the Category selected I want a specific Multiple Line of Text box to show up to allow the requestor to input there  items.

Each Category will have a specific Text Box  that should show up , how do I setup the InfoPath form, to show the text boxes depending on the category selected?

Would I stack all the comment boxes on top of each other , and then do a rule to show the comment box bassed on the category or would I do a Section box and hide it with a rule and show it depending on the Category selected?

Just trying to figure out the best way to develop the form with the various Category Response areas. As each comment area has its own text it in as fill in responses.

or would I create a placeholder like a comment1 and then with a rule switch out the Comment1 text box with the category text box?

anyone have a good idea about how to achieve a good design idea for this?

If I can not add this text to the inside of  text boxes, how can I achieve the solution?

1. Stack your various "Comments" fields, positioning them without any spaces between them.

2. Set a Formatting Rule to hide each "Comments" field.  The condition would be "Category" DOES NOT EQUAL "specify your Category".
