Recently, I tried using the Media web part to display my video on a page. However, I realised that I was not able to add a video onto the Media web part because my Media tab is missing from the media webpart.

I had read up some similar cases of missing tab on the Media web part, and was told to activate the Sharepoint Publishing Site. However, after activating it, it is still missing my media tab on my Sharepoint.

Please create a new site page, place a Media Web Part. Click the Media Web Part and then the "Media" Ribbon will be visible:
