I am porting a Windows phone 7 app to windows phone 8. One feature needs map functionality where I need to display a map and some markers on it by coordinates. I searched on this quite a bit but could not find either Bing Maps or Google Maps support for Windows Phone 8. Can anyone please suggest possible approaches?

wp8 maps works in similar way to wp7. If you have it implemented in wp7, you just need to change maps control and some apis in order to add markers into it.

The big different is that  now wp8 maps are nokia maps.
