I am looking for a function similar to VLOOUP for SharePoint (NOT the Lookup feature). Scenario: I have a list (A) with two columns (Status and State) that needs to auto populate in the library (B). I spent a lot of time researching and did not found anything that does not require coding. I have SharePoint Designer but do not know how to create the workflow to populate the fields in the library (B) based on the unique ID. Please provide the detail information about your requirement.

What kind of "auto populate" do you want to achieve? What is your "unique ID"?

If you want to use a workflow to set field value with list A value when an item is created in library B, you can automatically start the workflow when an item is created for library B. In the workflow, use "Set Field in Current Item" or "Update List Item" action, and find the field value from list A based on your condition (such as the ID).
