Our PCs run McAfee VirusScan Enterprise 8.7.0i.  I am trying to optimise Visual C++ 2008 Express build times by specifying suitable low-risk process definitions to McAfee.  However, having done this, I find that these definitions make little or no difference to the build time. I am wondering whether anyone else has analysed this situation and found a good solution?
