I apparently changed something, and now I can no longer highlight a word or phrase and delete it with the backspace key. Normally, you can highlight a word or words and just type over them to replace. No longer. It is difficult to adapt to this, after using this feature for so many years. Now I have to highlight, then use the Supr key on my Spanish keyboard to delete, or hit the backspace key over and over and over. How can I turn this change off? (Word is the program I have become accustomed to, but it is so bloated that I sometimes find myself going down "blind alleys". And I cannot find my way out again!)
