我有一个需要以客户端-服务器架构形式构建基于Web的应用程序的要求.但是对于基于Web的应用程序我还是比较陌生.我有在VC ++.net平台上定义桌面应用程序的经验.

该应用程序是关于从硬件捕获实时数据的.数据捕获只能通过服务器来完成，但是可以通过作为客户端连接到Web应用程序来远程查看其状态.

Hello All,

I have a requirement in which I need to build a web-based application in the client-server architecture form. But I am relatively new to web-based application. I have experience in defining desktop applications on VC++.net platform.

The application is about capturing real-time data from hardware. Data capturing would be done only through the server but its status can be viewed remotely by connecting to the web app as a client.

Can anyone please guide me so to what all parameters I should be considering for designing the software and finalizing the platform for implementing the same.
